Magdalena R. Ramirez, 76, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
Magdalena was born on February 8, 1944 in Mexico, the daughter of Hilario and Martina (Fraire) Ramirez. She married Bruno Gonzalez in July of 1959 in Zacatecas, Mexico and the couple enjoyed 43 years of marriage before his passing in 2002. She truly enjoyed cooking and baking, and above all she loved entertaining and spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her children: Jesse (Dora) Gonzalez, Javier (Maria) Gonzalez, Maria (Natalio) Ayala, Carolina (Vicente) Medina, Petra (Rueben) Rojas, Veronica Gonzalez, Carmen Gonzalez, and David (Maria del Refugio) Gonzalez, 34 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, her sister Josefina (Juan-Auero) Ramirez, and brother Martin (Julia Lira) Ramirez. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 sons, and 2 daughters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Holy Family Parish in Waterloo with Fr. Jorge Miramontes presiding. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Waterloo.
