June Gottschalk

June Gottschalk, 85 of Waterloo passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Agrace Hospice Center in Fitchburg.

June was born on December 13, 1933 in Elderon, Wisconsin, The daughter of Arthur and Anna (Paulson) Winkler. She married Henry Gottschalk on March 22, 1953 and the couple enjoyed 66 years of marriage. In June’s free time she enjoyed painting, working on a variety of crafts, and birdwatching. Above all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

June is survived by her husband, daughter Debra (Peter Mueller) Gottschalk; and niece Lori Wright. She is also survived by a number of other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Dean Gottschalk, and her brother Dale Winkler.

A graveside service for June will be held at 4:00pm on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Washington Cemetery in the Town of Portland.
