Janet "Jan" Staude

Janet “Jan” L. Staude, 61, of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at her home.

Jan was born on March 4, 1958 in Watertown, WI the daughter of Norman and Vivian (Wellman) Rusch. Jan was a graduate of Watertown High School. She received her Associate’s Degree in accounting from MATC in Watertown and later worked for 28 years at H&R Block. She married the love of her life Ken Staude on June 5, 1982 and the couple enjoyed 37 years of marriage. Jan was full of life; she was fun-loving and lived her life to the fullest. In her free time she enjoyed camping, motorcycling, and spending as much time as possible with her Grandchildren. Jan loved her family very much and made friends with everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all.

Jan is survived by her husband, children Amber (Nathaniel) Heiden and Miranda Staude, Grandchildren Melody and Tristan, Brother Norman “Buddy” (Karen) Rusch Jr.; Sister Jeanne (Ron) Malterer; Christine Rodriguez; Kathy (Steve) Daase; Barb (Steve) Gregory and Mother-in-law Geraldine Staude. She is also survived by a number of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Brother Rick and Father In-Law Wayne Staude.

A funeral service for Jan will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 7:00pm at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Watertown with Pastor Anthony Schultz presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00pm until the time of service.
