David Molzner

David L. “Whitey” Molzner, 85 of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Marquardt Health Center with his family by his side.

David was born on October 23, 1934 in Medford, WI the son of Elmer and Pearle (Waisenan) Molzner. On May 6, 1956 David married Lois Gehler at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waterloo, WI and the couple enjoyed 58 years of marriage before her passing in 2015. David proudly served our country in the United States Air Force before becoming the business founder and owner of Watertown Transformer. David enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, golfing, and bartending at multiple local establishments in town. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by those who were blessed to have known him.

David is survived by his children Cindy (Dan) Stippich, Terri Timm-Detert, Karen (Darrell) Folz, and Mark Molzner. Brothers Richard (Jean) Molzner and Dean (Geri) Molzner. He is also survived by many wonderful grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois, and his beloved cat Mickey.

The family would like to thank the staff of Marquardt Health Center and Marquardt Hospice for the wonderful care given to David and his family.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. Ray Bezanson presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00am until the time of service. Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown will be held at a later date.
