Vivian Daufenbach, 77 of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, November 20th, 2016 in her home, surrounded by loving friends.
Vivian was born August 6th, 1939 to August and Anna (Dekins) Daufenbach in Harvey, IL. She lived her early life at home with her family, and attended school for a short period of time, moving to Bethesda Lutheran Home in October 1956. Vivian enjoyed her time at Bethesda, working many different jobs, attending classes, and going on trips. She moved to a group home in 1992. Vivian worked at Bethesda for over 60 years, retiring this year. Work was very important to her, she was glad to have worked as long as she did. While not working, Vivian enjoyed going on trips to the Fireside, going on picnics, and watching one of her favorite movies, Annie.
Vivian is survived by her Niece Roseann (Gaylan) Kulas, and other nieces and nephews, and her friends at Bethesda, Patsy, Terry, Debbie, and special friends, Pam, Melissa, Sally, Liz, Jesse, Diane, Dorothy, Rachel, and Mary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Robert, Dorothy, Earl, Norma, and Norman.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Watertown with Rev. David Groth presiding. Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00PM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 20, 2016 at Peotone Cemetery of Peotone, IL.
