Verna I. Wilke, 86 of Reeseville, died on Tuesday November 25, 2014 at Golden Living Center of Watertown.
She was born on June 16, 1928 the daughter of August and Edna (Heubner) Riege. Verna was long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Reeseville. She loved the outdoors, playing card and bingo and spending time with her family.
She is survived by: 5 Children Daniel Wilke of Cadillac, MI, Richard Wilke of Reeseville, Donald Wilke of Reeseville, Suzette (Roger) Fischer of Reeseville and Nancy (Harry) Raffety of Hudson, IL; Brother Melvin (Mary) Riege of Watertown; Sister-in-Law Bonnie Riege of Lowell. She is also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, 4 brother Raymond, Leslie, Wallace and Alvin Riege, and 3 sisters Beatrice Weber, Bernice Luther, and Adeline Kohn.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Reeseville with the Rev. Matthew Martin presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Washington Cemetery in the Town of Portland.
