Vera M. Gatewood

Vera M. Gatewood, 77, of Watertown, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.

Vera was born on November 19, 1947, the daughter of Charles and Josephine (Rozeck) Cantwell. Vera enjoyed watching tennis, as well as her favorite shows on TV. She was known for drinking at least 2 pots of coffee throughout her day. Vera also loved spending time with her family, particularly the family dogs. She will be missed by all those who knew her.

Vera is survived by her daughter Jonica Cateriano, grandchildren Abel (Samantha), Alyssa (Aaron), Charles, 6 great-grandchildren, her brother Tim Cantwell, nieces Julie, Jamie and Rhona, nephew Mike (Beth), and her dear friend Sandy VonHadyn. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
