Scott D. Heiman, 55, of Lake Mills, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at UW Hospital in Madison.
Scott was born on March 31, 1969, in Columbus, the son of David and Sue (Zingshiem) Heiman. Scott was a graduate of Lake Mills High school in 1987. Scott worked the majority of his life driving a dump truck. He was a member of the Kansas City Barbeque Society where he was a judge and competitor. Scott was always on the go, he loved traveling, and he especially enjoyed his yearly trips to the Philippines. In his free time he enjoyed collecting CB radios and tinkering with electronics, above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
Scott is survived by his parents, son Brandon (Sarah) Heiman, stepdaughter Alyssa Heiman, grandchildren Ryleigh Hope Lange, Violet Leona Heiman, Michael Owen Heiman, David Scott Heiman, and stepsister Becky Thompson. He is also survived by number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Violet Lafler, stepfather Michael Zingshiem, and stepmother Dorothy Heiman.
A Celebration of Life will be held starting at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Marshall American Legion Post 279 with food being served at 4:00 PM.
