Sara Prigge

Mrs. Sara E. Prigge, 49, of Watertown, WI passed peacefully into her Savior’s presence on December 4, 2018 while receiving in-patient care at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek.

Sara was born on December 30, 1968 to David and Reta (Hess) Shrauner in Moline, IL.  She grew up in Minneapolis, MN and attended Fourth Baptist Christian School during her elementary and secondary years.  At the age of ten years, Sara recognized her sinfulness before God and placed her trust in the Person and work of Jesus Christ as her only hope for forgiveness and eternal life (Romans 10:9).

Sara graduated from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College (Owatonna, MN – now defunct) with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  While a student at Pillsbury, she met Chad whom she would marry on October 19, 1991 in Minneapolis.  God blessed their union with six beautiful children.

As a pastor’s wife and homemaker, Sara spent her life ministering alongside her husband in churches in  Connecticut, Minnesota and Wisconsin.  Sara loved to minister to children teaching them the truths of God’s Word through formal opportunities such as Sunday school and VBS, as well as through informal interactions with them.

Sara is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Chad; her 6 children, Caleb, Rachel, Seth, Megan, Samantha, and Miles; her parents; and her brother, Mitch Shrauner.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Fellowship Baptist Church from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.  The funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Fellowship Baptist Church.
