Sandra Wegner

Sandra J. Wegner, 75 of Watertown, passed away on Thursday March 5, 2015 at Rainbow Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 1, 1939 in the Town of Emmet, the daughter of Adolph and Edna (Fehrmann) Christian. Sandra attended Oconomowoc High School. On May 24, 1958, Sandra married Delano Wegner at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Oconomowoc. Sandra was a devout member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Ixonia, serving in the ladies aid group. She was an AARP (#3056) member, enjoyed being a part of Plattdeutscher Verein Auxiliary and was a member of the Red Hat Grandmas of Jefferson County. She was a dedicated Brewers fan and loved watching them on television, and enjoyed playing cards. Above all else, she treasured time spent with family.
Sandra is survived by: Daughter Debra (Stephen) Siegel of Watertown, Sons Bruce (Lori) Wegner of Lakeville, MN and Eric Wegner of Watertown; 5 Grandchildren Cassie (Jeremy) Becker of Cedar Grove, Stephanie Siegel of Watertown, Jon-Paul Siegel of Watertown, Mackenzie Wegner of Lakeville, MN, and Madison Wegner of Lakeville, MN; Sister Bernice (Floyd) Sukow of Farmington; Sister-in-Law Sharon Christian of Oconomowoc, Sister-in-Law Eldora Wegner of Watertown. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded by: her Husband Delano in 1999, her Parents, Grandson Joshua, and Brother Leland.
Memorials in Sandra's honor may be made to Rainbow Hospice of Johnson Creek, St. John's Lutheran Church of Ixonia, or the charity of one's choice.
A funeral service will be at 11:30 on Monday, March 9, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Ixonia with the Rev. Allen Tetzlaff presiding. Visitation will be from 4:00PM - 7:00PM on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home and Monday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Glenview Memorial Gardens following the service.
