Ronald A. Jacobson

Ronald A. “Ron” Jacobson, 68 of Marshall, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital of Madison after a long battle with ALS.

Ron was born on February 26, 1957, in Wisconsin, the son of Francis and Aurelia (Harker) Jacobson. After graduating high school, Ron served his country in the United States Marine Corps. In his free time, Ron enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers, and was a season ticket holder. He liked to hunt and work outside on the farmland that he owned. Ron also held several positions on the Town Board of Medina.

Ron is survived by his wife Leola, and many other relatives and friends.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Judi and Deb.

Per Ron’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

If desired, memorials in Ron’s name to the Ducks Unlimited Mud Lake Chapter or the Waterloo-Marshall Food Pantry would be appreciated by the family.
