Randall L. "Randy" Gray 62, of Watertown passed away on Tuesday Sept. 8, 2015.
Randy was born on June 11, 1953 in Buffalo Center, IA the son of Alvin and Irene (Rippentropp) Gray. Randy was a graduate of Marshfield H.S. He married Janell Uzwack on Aug. 3, 1974 at Calvary Bible Church in Marshfield. Randy grew up on a farm and later purchased his own farm in Marshfield. After moving to Watertown, Randy worked as a contractor, owning and operating Gray and Son's Construction, for over 30 years. Randy was a charter member of River Valley Alliance Church, where he served as a Deacon, a youth group leader and served in Awana. Randy enjoyed helping at Berres Brothers State Fair, and trade shows with his wife, Janell. He also enjoyed playing softball, throwing horse shoes, camping, hunting, fishing, making fire wood and driving a tractor whenever possible. Randy loved sports, he was an avid Packer and Brewer fan.
Randy will be missed by his wife, Janell of Watertown; children, Adam Gray of Watertown, John (Jennifer) Gray of Fort Atkinson, Ryan Gray of Watertown and Aric (Lynley) Gray of Lebanon; eight grandchildren, Ethan, Jazlyn, Taylor, Elliahna, Mykenna, Jacob, Kieryn, and Anna; two brothers, Doug (Jeanne) Gray of Marshfield, and Dean (Dan) Wilch of New York; two sisters, Virginia (Norm "Bud") Kommer of Marshfield, and Roberta (Dale) Tesky of Wausau; sister-in-law, Vicki Gray of Greenwood; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Irene; and his brother Vic.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM on Saturday Sept. 12, 2015 at River Valley Alliance Church in Watertown with the Rev. David Zimmermann presiding. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 PM at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home and on Saturday from 1-2 PM at River Valley Alliance Church.
