Phyllis Schmid

Phyllis R. Schmid, 70, of Watertown, Wisconsin went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her home.

Phyllis was born on February 12, 1947 in Cambridge, Nebraska, the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Luhman) Schmid. Phyllis was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a resident at Bethesda Lutheran Communities for over 60 years. She received wonderful care at Bethesda and enjoyed her time there. She will be dearly missed by her friends and loving family.

Phyllis is survived by: her loving mother, Dorothy of Centennial, CO; her two sisters, Cecelia Knoll and her husband Bill of Centennial, CO, and Claire Glatki of Murrells Inlet, SC; nieces, Sara and Hannah; nephews, William, Zachary and Travis; and seven  great-nieces and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by: her father, Clarence Schmid; uncles, Ted Luhman, Don Lucas, Richard Schmid and wife Elsie Schmid and brother-in-law Gary Glatki.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Bethesda Lutheran Communities for the special care they provided Phyllis for many years.

Memorials in Phyllis’ honor may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

A private family service will be held to honor Phyllis' life.
