Paula D. Anderson

Waukesha

Paula was a poet, artist, lover of nature and of life. She wore her well earned moniker of "Goofy Grandma" proudly. Born in Wisconsin, Paula grew up in the Oconomowoc area. She was awarded a degree in Art Education from UW-Whitewater as well as a degree in Art, creating fantastical sculptures. She established the Glass Gallery stained glass studio, creating lamps, figures, and stained glass windows. After selling her business, she focused on quilting, poetry, and knitting scarves for whoever needed or wanted one.
Paula loved the birds that came to visit, especially the crows, who appreciated her treats. She was the publisher of Echoes, a poetry anthology.
One of the defining events of her life was a trip to Africa. She fell in love with Africa and wore her Africa baseball cap every time she went outdoors.
Paula is survived by her husband, Jerry Anderson, her children DuWayne Marshall (Vicki), and Cynthia Faux (Randolph), her sister Jeanne Durnford (Juanita Mast), grandchildren Ryan Marshall (Katie), and Brittni Bowie (Owen), Step-children Margaret Anderson, Hans Anderson (Danine), and Anita Bublik (Hanza), and great-grandchildren Harrison, Charles, and Elise. She is predeceased by her parents and one Sister, Janice Wrucke.
