Mary K. Raether

Mary K Raether, 82, of Watertown passed away at Hartland Terrace on May 10, 2026 after, being diagnosed with myelofibrosis. She was born in Jefferson, Wisconsin, on November 10, 1943 to Oswald and Mary (Grimm) Werner. She married William Raether on May 24, 1963. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2002.

She is survived by her daughters, Leigh (Jeff) Scherer, Karen (Bruce A) Mallow and Katherine Semrad; seven grandchildren, Daniel (Kendra) Scherer, Thomas (Kaley) Scherer, Calvin Mallow, Madeline (Caleb) Malchow, Ashley Eicksteadt, Shannon Eicksteadt and Aaron Eicksteadt; two great-grandchildren, Kade Scherer and Addison Scherer; her brother, Raymond (Audrey) Werner, and sister, Carol Wollet; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Raether, parents, brother, Jerome Werner, and sister, Janet Ogden.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to Hartland Terrace would be appreciated.
