Mark Johnson

Mark Robert Johnson of Watertown passed away at the age of 56 on Friday November 17, 2017 at Watertown Regional Medical Center. Mark was born on September 15, 1961 in Arlington Heights, IL the son of Robert and Maribeth (Heiden) Johnson. He attended St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Mark loved organ music and attending church. He enjoyed people watching and going on walks at the Bethesda Campus. One of Mark’s guilty pleasures in life was a bag of plain M&M’s. He loved his Lord and Savior and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include: Mother Maribeth Johnson of Palatine, IL; Brothers Todd (Lori) of Wauconda, IL and Tim (Leanne) of South Barrington, IL. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends of Bethesda. Memorials to Bethesda Lutheran Communities in Mark’s honor would be appreciated. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday November 24, 2017 at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home Watertown with the Rev. Douglas Bergelin presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial service will be at 2PM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva.
