Marjorie Hein

December 17, 1931 — April 4, 2016

Marjorie C. Hein, 84 of Waterloo, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Agrace Hospice Care of Fitchburg.
Marge was born December 17, 1931 in Waterloo, WI, the daughter of Clifford and Josephine (Klecker) Kohl. She was a 1949 graduate of Waterloo High School and on June 23, 1951 she married Eugene D. Hein at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Waterloo. The couple had 4 daughters and farmed in the Town of York for over 40 years. Gene and Marge enjoyed 45 years of marriage until his death in May of 1997. Marge was an awesome cook and insisted on "seconds". She loved Wisconsin sports and was avid spectator at her grandchildren's sporting events. She loved playing cards with the ladies from church, dancing whenever possible and spending time with her family during the holidays. She was devout parishioner of Holy Family - Waterloo Campus and received her strength from the Christian Mass she so faithfully attended. 1 Corinthians 13:13 "And now these three remain: Faith, Hope, and Love, but the greatest of these is Love." She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by: her Daughters Mary (Jeff) Danielson of Sun Prairie and Debra (Bill) Lien of DeForest; Grandchildren Christina, Michael (Melissa), Scott (Emily), and Eric (Jenny); Great-Grandchildren Caleb, Maci, Parker, and Ava; Son-in-Law Michael Caliva of Sun Prairie; Sister Rose (Tom) Wedeward of Menomonee Falls. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Daughters Jane Hein in 1961 and Patricia Caliva in 1995, Sisters Geraldine Stark and Catherine White, and Brother James Kohl.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Agrace Hospice of Fitchburg for the loving care provided.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Holy Family Parish-Waterloo Campus with Fr. Jorge Miramontes presiding. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Washington Cemetery in the Town of Portland following the service.
