Columbus - Marilyn Schultz, 78, formerly of Waterloo, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013.
Marilyn was born the daughter of Arnold Sr. and Lottie (Hensler) Berndt on June 29, 1935, in Reeseville. She married Harvey E. Schultz on February 25, 1956. Marilyn was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church Waterloo.
Marilyn enjoyed a lifetime of farming with her husband and son. She also enjoyed crafts, knitting, reading, bowling, and traveling with friends on bus trips.
Survived by son Duane (Sandy) Schultz of Waterloo and daughter Sharee (Dan) Horzewski of Oakdale MN, granddaughters Rachel and Rebecca Horzewski, brothers Harvey (Diane) Berndt of Waterloo, Otto (Barbara) Berndt of Adams, William (Delila) Berndt of Park Falls, Eugene (Elsie) Berndt of Chilton, Kenneth (Christine) Berndt of Green Bay, special cousin Ruth Green of CA, nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Harvey, parents, daughter Sharon, grandson Michael, sister Margaret, brothers Robert, Arnold Jr., Charles, and Eric and daughter-in-law, Debbie.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church Waterloo with the Rev. Thomas Wilsmann presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery in the Town of Portland.
