Marilyn Kreuscher

Marilyn J. Kreuscher, 85 of Watertown, died on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Rainbow Hospice Center of Johnson Creek, WI.
Marilyn was born on July 2, 1931 in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of Harry and Marion (Klein) Quandt. She attended Friedens Elementary and graduated from Mary D. Braford High School, both of Kenosha. On September 16, 1950, she married Vernon Kreuscher and the couple had 3 children. Marilyn worked as an Auto Worker for American Motors, a Bank Teller at American State Bank and variety of secretarial jobs. She was very involved in Eastern Star, serving as past Matron of Wautoma Lodge and she was the Wisconsin Representative for Pennsylvania. After retirement, she moved to Arizona, where she volunteered at Apache Junction Elks Lodge 4 nights a week for 5 years. While in Arizona, she also volunteered at Banner Hospital of Mesa. She enjoyed people and loved having dinner parties, volunteering and well as traveling, fishing, cooking, and reading. Above all other interests, Marilyn cherished time spent her family. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by: her Husband of 66 years; Sons David (Kathy) of Newberry, MI and Kenneth of Watertown; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Marilyn is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Daughter Luann in 2004 and her Sister Shirley Shephard.
A memorial service will be held at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home of Watertown at 6:00PM on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00PM until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be a Sunset Ridge of Kenosha at a later date.
