Margarito Heredia Aguero, 68 of Waterloo, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his home.
Margarito was born on June 20, 1947 in Zacatecas, Mexico, the son of Crecensio and Aurelia (Lira) Heredia. He married Ma Josefina Vital and the couple raised 5 children. They were married 40 plus years. Margarito was a hard-working family man who was generally quiet and kept to himself. Those who knew him best spoke of his sense of humor and how much he loved to dance. He was a good man and will be deeply missed.
Margarito is survived by: His Mother Aurelia; Wife Ma Josefina; Children Norma, Jose, Aita, Robert, and Maria; 11 grandchildren; 5 Sisters Ninfa Jones, Rosalva Chairez, Hierminia Parson, Maria D. Jesus Heredia, M. Teresa Heredia; 2 Brothers Victorino Heredia, and Jesus Heredia. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father and Son Francisco in infancy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30PM on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at St. Mary of the Nativity of Marshall with Fr. Jorge Miramontes presiding. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:30AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery of Waterloo following the service.
