Lorraine Yahn

Lorraine K. Yahn, 92 of Watertown, went to be with her Heavenly Savior peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Marquardt Village.
Lorraine was born on June 12, 1924 on the farm in the Town of Watertown, the daughter of Alvin and Helene (Kropf) Schroeder. She attended the Whitney School, a one-room school house, through 8th Grade. On July 10, 1955 she married Gilbert Yahn at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Watertown. The couple had 2 sons. Lorraine was a caring mother and homemaker, although busy, made sure her family was well taken care of. She was a happy lady and people were drawn to her because of her compassion for others. She was a life-long follower of Christ and her faith was of the utmost importance.
She is survived by: her Son Keith Yahn of Menomonee Falls; Grandson Brandon (Erika) Yahn of Germantown; 3 Sisters Elna Braeker of Menomonee Falls, Gladys Ninmann of Jacksonville, FL, and Karol Wesemann of Watertown. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.
Lorraine is preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Son Kevin in 2015, Granddaughter Erin Yahn in 2013, Daughter-in-Law Kaye Yahn, Sister Hazel Peuse, and Brothers Edwin and Carl.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Watertown.
A funeral service will be at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Warnecke presiding. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Lutheran Cemetery of Watertown.
