Lori A. Schadt

Lori A. Schadt, 66 of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at the Watertown Regional Medical Center in Watertown.

Lori was born September 13, 1956, at St. Mary’s in Watertown, the daughter of Harold and Donna (Behm) Gerth. She attended school in the area and graduated from Watertown High School. On July 12, 1975, Lori married John Schadt at the Watertown Moravian Church. Lori worked for over 25 years as a key punch operator at Johnson Controls, and then later in the bakery and deli department at Breslow’s of Watertown. She most recently worked at Kwik Trip on North Fourth Street and enjoyed the people that she met. Lori bowled for many years in the 80’s, and later liked to garden and try her luck with scratch off tickets. Lori loved animals, but particularly pigs; she collected anything that was pig related, especially knickknacks. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake for her family. Lori was the biggest supporter of her family’s drag racing, and nothing brought her more joy than seeing her husband and sons’ race. The family would trailer out and camp, spending weekends on the track. Lori was kind, had a great sense of humor, and loved to laugh. Above all else, family meant the most to her and she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

Lori is survived by: her husband John; children Aaron (Tara) Schadt and Jason (Jennifer) Schadt; grandchildren Brody (Grace Klemm) Schadt, Amelia (Maddie Lopata) Gnewuch, Trenton Schadt, Makayla Feith, and Chastity Feith; siblings David (Dorla) Gerth and Mary (Milo) Wolf. Lori is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, in-law’s, other relatives, and many friends.

Lori is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Connie Lynn and Randy.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 28, 2023, at St. Luke’s Ev. Lutheran Church of Watertown with Rev. Anthony Schultz and Rev. Justin Cloute presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
