Lloyd L. Kling

Lloyd L Kling, age 99 yrs, 10 mo, passed away Sept. 23, 2026, at Sunset Ridge, Johnson Creek, WI. Memorial service will be held at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home, 213 S 5th St., Watertown, WI, Wed., Sept. 30, 2026, at 12 noon, with Pastor Karl Walther, officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at 11 am, until time of service. Burial will take place at the Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Watertown, immediately following the service, with lunch at the Lyons Irish Pub, 201 E Main St., Watertown.

Lloyd was born in Town Oakwood, Milwaukee County, WI, one of nine children. Employment during his life included working for a farmer, service in the U.S. Army, railroad worker, followed by truck driver for Standard Tar Co. His last employment was school bus driver for Oconomowoc School District, until age 78. He enjoyed playing cards and socializing with good friends at Johnson Arms, Watertown.

Lloyd married Marilyn Johnson, and he later married Deloris Nehls June 1978, who preceded him in death July 2002.

Lloyd is survived by: his children Judy, Howard and Lisa Kling; step-daughter Carol Bohlman and step-daughter-in-law Beverly Nehls; and siblings Marilyn and Kenneth. He was preceded in death by siblings: Viola, Edgar, George K, Eugene, Shirley, and Reynold; step-sons Clyde and Wilfred Nehls.

Memorials may be given to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Watertown; Watertown Humane Society; or charity of one’s choice.
