Larry A. Beal

Larry Allen Beal, 65 of Waterloo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

Larry was born on November 8, 1960, in Beaver Dam, the son of Allen and Donna (Grossman) Beal. He was united in marriage with Carol Landphier on September 7, 2012, and in total the couple shared over 30 years together. Larry loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle and riding it outside in the open air. Larry loved spending time with his friends and family and never turned down a chance to have a good time, or to share his sense of humor. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting. In their free time, Larry and Carol enjoyed being outside at bonfires, or just passing time making memories with friends and family. Above all else, Larry loved his wife, his daughter and his granddaughters, family, and faithful friend Millie Mae.

Larry is survived by: his wife Carol; daughter Amber (Dustin) Benesch; father Allen; stepdaughter Erin (Ricky Moll) Karn; granddaughters Violet and Jade; sister Sue (Randy) Buss, and Steve (Stacey Fandrey) Beal; and special friends Greg and Debbie, Perry and Dawn, and Jeff and Coleen who were always there for support and care. Larry is also survived by a number of nieces nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his mother Donna, maternal and paternal grandparents, nephew Brandon, stepson Keith and beloved dogs Ashley and Charlie.

The family extends a sincere thank you to Agrace Hospice Care for the loving care provided to Larry.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of ones choice in Larry’s honor would be appreciated by the family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, October 19, 2026, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Waterloo with Rev. Robert Moberg presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Larry will be laid to rest at Washington Cemetery in the Town of Portland following the service.
