Johna L. Wheeler, 71 of Watertown Wisconsin, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday December 15, 2014 at Bethesda Lutheran Homes.
Johna was born on November 20, 1943 in Chicago Illinois. She moved to Bethesda's Watertown campus when she was 16 years old, and was a Bethesda resident for just shy of 56 years.
Johna was known for her beautiful smile and pleasant nature. She enjoyed watching people, listening to music and afternoon naps. Johna loved her savior and especially enjoyed attending chapel and carrying the processional cross. Although she will be dearly missed, her family and friends are comforted to know that she is now at peace with Jesus.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19 at 10:00am at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd on the Bethesda Lutheran Campus, with the Rev. Dennis Kneer presiding. Visitation will be on Friday in the Chapel from 9:30 until the time of service. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Gardens, West in Elmhurst, IL.
