John Andrew Ellens

John Andrew “Drew” Ellens, age 57 of Fort Atkinson, passed away on December 2, 2023 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Drew was born October 4th, 1966, the son of John Robert Ellens and Catherine Ida (Corbett) Ellens. Drew lived for many years in Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown, WI, and in more recent years in several group homes.  He was lovingly cared for by so many wonderful people to whom his family will always owe a debt of gratitude. Drew enjoyed any type of motorized vehicle- trains and airplanes were favorites.  Drew was also interested in drawing, an almost constant occupation. He loved mobiles and sparkly objects.

Drew is survived by his brother Daniel Ellens and sisters Erin (Ellens) Courtney and Meg Darrell.

Drew is preceded in death by his parents Catherine Corbett and John Ellens.

A special gathering in honor of Drew will be held at a later date. Those closest to Drew will be notified via his social network. In lieu of flowers or cards to the family, please make generous donations to Opportunities, Incorporated in Fort Atkinson, WI, one of Drew’s favorite places to go.
