Howard Soldner

January 10, 1934 — April 3, 2019

Howard C. Soldner, 85 of the Marshall/Lake Mills area passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Sienna Crest in Fort Atkinson.

Howard was born on January 10, 1934 the son of Clarence and Esther (Zimmerman) Soldner. Howard married the love of his life Irene Korth on December 5, 1954 in Sun Prairie and the couple enjoyed 64 years of marriage. Howard spent most of his life as a dairy farmer on his own farm; he was the happiest when he was in the barn working with his cows. He was a hard worker and took pride in the work that he did.

Howard is survived by his wife Irene, his Son Steve (Denise) Soldner of Waterloo, Daughter Charlotte; Grandchildren Haily, Levi, Dustin and Julie; 11 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers Harvey (Laura) of Sun Prairie and Leroy (Randena) of Oregon, WI, and his Sister Irene. Howard is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his Grandson Brandon.

A funeral service for Howard will take place at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Waterloo on Wednesday April 10, 2019 at 11:00am with Rev. Dave Sobek presiding. A visitation will take place at the funeral home at 9:30am until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow the service at Kroghville Cemetery.
