Harvey Duessler

Harvey R. Duessler 88, of Waterloo, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 surround by his loving family.

Harvey was born on Nov. 25, 1929 in Jefferson, WI the son of Elmer and Lydia (Kaul) Duessler.  He married Doris L. Foss on June 1, 1968 at Holy Trinity Church in Marshall.  Harvey was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Waterloo. Harvey farmed in the Town of Medina for many years, and was an active member of the American Legion in Waterloo. Above all, Harvey enjoyed farming and hunting in his free time.

Survivors include: Three Children: Debra (Don Aber) Duessler of Mukwanago, Steve Duessler of Waterloo and Dean (Sue) Duessler of Pewaukee Six Stepchildren: Edward (Linda) Kohls of Waterloo, Diane (Craig) Zimmerman of Portland, Cindy (Steven) Butzine of Waterloo, Victoria Heredia of Marshall, Katherine (Steve) Flieshman of Merill, Wi and Susan Gonzalez of Lake Mills; 29 Grandchildren; 60 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, and a great granddaughter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.

A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 PM on Monday, July 30, 2018 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Waterloo with the Rev. Robb Kosky presiding.  Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 5:00 PM until the time of service.  Burial will be in the Medina Cemetery in Marshall.
