Gina Marie Kaufmann

Gina Marie Kaufmann, 42, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born on July 15, 1983, in Columbus, the daughter of Steven and Paula (Zimbric) Hanna. 

A cherished member of her community and a beloved consultant for Scentsy for many years, Gina's warmth, creativity, and zest for life touched everyone who knew her, she was a 2002 graduate of Waterloo High School, Gina's roots were deeply planted in the town where she later married Eric Kaufmann on October 4, 2008. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared passions. She was a devoted Wisconsin sports fan and found joy in watching WWE wrestling, crafting, and honing her skills in loom knitting and ceramic painting. Her enthusiasm also extended to running craft fairs, where she delighted in sharing her creativity with others. Above all, time spent with family and friends was her greatest treasure.

Gina is survived by her loving husband Eric Kaufmann; her sister Stephanie (John J. Dowling) Wolfe, and her brother Eric (Amber) Hanna. She is further survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Gathering to honor Gina’s life will take place on March 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home in Watertown, Wisconsin.
