Gertrude Fox, 100 of Watertown, died on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at her home.
She was born on June 18, 1915 in Flanagan, IL, the daughter of Frank and Tillie (Smith) Fox. She enjoyed doing bead work, making jewelry such as necklaces and bracelets. She was a resident at Bethesda Lutheran Communities of Watertown for over 70 years. She was a private person who kept to herself. She had a personality of her own and was loved by many at Bethesda.
She is survived by her Guardian Myrna Sterwald of Watertown and her many friends and staff members of Bethesda.
Gertrude is preceded in death her parents and siblings.
A funeral service will at 11:00AM on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd - Bethesda Campus with the Rev. Dennis Kneer presiding. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00AM until the time of service at the Chapel. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery following the service.
