Gaynor "Butch" Rickerman

Gaynor L. Rickerman “Butch”, 74, of Watertown passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Watertown regional Medical Center.

Butch was born on January 16, 1944 in Watertown the son of Louis and Leona Rickerman. Butch married the love of his life Joan Hollatz on September 22, 1962 at St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Watertown, and the couple enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Butch proudly served our country in the Army for a few years, before becoming an over the road truck driver as an owner/operator which he did most of his life. In his free time Butch enjoyed camping, boating, taking trips up north, watching his favorite Clint Eastwood movies, the Packers and most of all spending time working on the farm with his family. Butch will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate to have known him.

Survivors include: wife Joan, son Lee (Trudy) Rickerman of Watertown, 3 Grandchildren: Christopher (Courtney) Hoeppner, Kimberlee (Mike Stachowiak) Rickerman, Nicole (Lee Zins) Rickerman, 1 great grandchild: Fiona Hoeppner. Brother Clyde (Ida) Rickerman of Watertown, Sister Darcy (Jim) Moyer of Watertown and 2 sister-in laws Jane Hollatz and Sally Rickerman. Butch is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents and Brother Jan.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Pederson-Nowatka funeral home in Watertown with Rev. James Backus presiding. A visitation will be at the funeral home at 9:00am until time of service. A committal ceremony will immediately follow the service at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.

Memorials can be made to St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Lakeside Lutheran High School, or a charity of one’s choice.
