Gary F. Johnson, 71 of Johnson Creek, passed away on Friday Dec. 5, 2014 at the Watertown Regional Medical Center.
Gary was born on June 4, 1943 in Waterloo the son of the late Lewis Johnson and Ruby Bentheimer. Gary worked as a maintenance Supervisor with Dynex-Rivett Inc for over forty years. Gary loved Stock cars and enjoyed building them. For those who knew him, he could design and build just about anything. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include: wife Barbara Johnson; daughters Lorinda (Larry) Wolff and Susan (Todd) Pooler; son Allen (Kimberly) Johnson; Grandchildren Devin Wolff, Ashley Wolff, Mark Wolff, Sean Pooler, Stephen Pooler, Deidra Pooler, Desiree Pooler, Tyler Johnson, Cheyenne Johnson and Breann Johnson; great grandson Noah; step children Nathan Kirscher and Zachry Filenius; sisters Kathleen (Richard) Dathan and Marie (George) Kunert; brother Lewis (Barbara) Johnson; former wife and good friend Alice Meschke. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A friends and family gathering will be held 12-5 pm on Saturday Dec. 13, 2014 at Linda's Lookout in Grellton.
