Eugene Schlesner

Eugene F.E. Schlesner, 80 of Watertown, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
Eugene was born on February 6, 1937 in Watertown, the son of John Sr. and Viola (Weber) Schlesner. He worked as a Welder and Mechanic for the majority of his working career. On March 31, 1973, he married Frances Manke at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Watertown. He loved working with his son, Tom at the shop. Eugene also enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the casino and spending time with his family. He will be missed.
Eugene is survived by: his Wife Frances; Children Tom (Judy) of Clyman, Connie (Joseph) Stangl of Watertown, Sheri (Kenneth) Dantuma of Watertown, Rhonda Schlesner of Watertown, and Stacy (Janson) Sem of Watertown; Grandchildren Tyler, Sabrina, Shawn, Holley, Kali, and Brandon; Great-Grandchildren Eliana, Angel, Maritte, Marquiz, Malaquiz, Savannah, and Jenni; 6 Sisters Kathleen Evan, Barbara Miller, Donna Freson, Delores (Gino) Gehler, Sandra (Jeff) Beird, Bonnie (Joe) Hrobsky; 2 Brothers Lester (Marlene) and Howard. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and Closest Friends Patty, Rick, and Mike Pease.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, first Wife Carol Heller in 1971, Son Randall, Brothers Leroy, John Jr., Paul, and Fred; Sisters Elaine in infancy, and Florence Streich.
Memorial in Eugene's honor St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Watertown would be appreciated.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church of Watertown with Rev. Karl Walther presiding. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church.
