Ellsworth Schuett

Ellsworth C. Schuett, 93 minus 4 days, of Watertown passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Highland House in Watertown.

Ellsworth was born in the Town of Concord on October 12, 1924, the son of Leonard and Otillie (Helendrung) Schuett. He was united in marriage to Miriam Rastede on December 1, 1945 at Zion Episcopal Church and the couple was blessed with 71 wonderful years of marriage together. Ellsworth was a hard worker and provider for his family. He worked as a lineman for 20 years and a lineman crew foreman for WE Energies for another 20 years, retiring on January 1st, 1986 at the Delafield Service Center. Ellsworth was also a man of faith. He was a member at Zion Episcopal Church for many years. He loved to travel with his wife Miriam. The two traveled to nine countries in Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, Hawaii, six Caribbean Cruises and one thru the Panama Canal. The couple also enjoyed 22 winters in Tucson, Arizona. He will be dearly missed.

Ellsworth is survived by: his loving wife Miriam, nieces and nephews, Lorna Whitlow, Kathlenn (Robert) Majeski, Robert Bergman, Dale (Sandy) Schuett, Keith (Diane) Oleson, Gary (Connie) Oleson, Julie Oleson and grand-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, sister Leona Bergman, brothers, Alvin and Vilas, sister in law, June Oleson and niece Janice Davis, and nephews David Schuett and Kenneth Oleson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Episcopal Church of Oconomowoc.

A memorial service will be held at Zion Episcopal Church in Oconomowoc on Friday, October 13, at 5:00PM with the Rev. Scott A. Seefeldt presiding. A visitation will be held from 4:00PM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
