On Friday, January 2, 2026, Elizabeth "Ann" Lindemann passed from life to Life and now is at home with Jesus in heaven. Ann was born in Detroit, MI at Henry Ford Hospital on June 10, 1939, the eldest daughter of Edward and Margaret (Stern) Eriksson. She was born again of water and the Spirit in the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on July 6, 1939. Ann was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in spring of 1953. She graduated from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in 1957 and from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1961. On August 3, 1962, Ann married Edward Lindemann at Lola Park in Detroit, MI. During their married years together, Ann and Ed lived in Nebraska, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, where Ed served as pastor and Dean of Men at NWC in Watertown. Ann served her Lord as a substitute teacher in Watertown, working in the NWC library and teaching Jesus Cares. After moving to Pardeeville, WI, Ann taught Sunday School at St. John's and substituted in the public school near their home, which she enjoyed immensely. In retirement, Ann and Ed moved back to Watertown and enjoyed many years watching their grandchildren attend Luther Prep School. Spending time with her grandchildren was one of the greatest joys of her life.
Ann is survived by her children, Jonathan (Barb) Lindemann of West Salem, WI, Pastor Michael (Lisa) Lindemann of Spring Hill, FL, Susan (Pastor Joel) Jenswold of DeForest, WI, and Pastor Peter (Kris) Lindemann of Fond du Lac, WI, and her sister Kathy Erlenbeck
She is further survived by her grandchildren: Samuel, Elliott, Madeline, and Lydia Lindemann; Pastor Alex (Rachel), Alison (Pastor Caleb) Klatt, and Kyle Lindemann; Pastor Jake (Maddy), Pastor Nicolas (Emily), Nathan (Morgan) Jenswold, and Rachel (Joe) Hirsch; Pastor Jason (Anika), Pastor Jared (Maggie), Jonas (Sarah), and Jackson (Jordyn) Lindemann. Ann is also survived by great grandchildren: Ellie. Leo and Laina Lindemann; Zoey, Joel, and Anastasia Jenswold; Jude, Evelyn, Henry, and Liam Jenswold: Maisy and Clara Lindemann; Everly and Mila Lindemann; Ezekiel Lindemann.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Ed, her parents, and her sister, Pauline.
