DuWayne C. Bruske

DuWayne C. “Duey” Bruske, 68 of Watertown, passed away on August 30, 2023, at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center of Johnson Creek.

DuWayne was born March 26, 1955, in Watertown, the son of Otto and Wanda (Boutin) Bruske. DuWayne was proudly self-employed, working for many years in maintenance and lawn care. He was especially good at free-hand painting in houses. In his earlier days, DuWayne liked to play sheepshead. One of his favorite activities was taking long drives in the country. DuWayne was a kind and selfless man who was willing to help anyone that he could. He was a very caring father and grandfather, and will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind, especially his cat Bob.  

DuWayne is survived by: his son Greg Bruske; friend Cindy Bruske; children Brad (Tonya) Stai and Valerie (Chuck Fuchs) Stai; grandchildren Donovan Stai, Hannah Stai, and Kilee Schears; siblings Lynn (Randy) Grulke, Kym Bruske-Harmelink, Dale (Norma) Bruske, Wanda (Rich) Udovich, and Barbara Wolfgram; and life-long friend John Kaliebe. DuWayne is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

DuWayne is preceded in death by his parents, brother Craig Bruske, and brother-in-law Kenneth Wolfgram.

Per DuWayne’s wishes, a small family gathering will take place at a later date.
