Dorothy C. Slipka

Dorothy Caroline (Drusch) Slipka passed away on Dec 29, 2025, at home with her family by her side, she was born Aug 10, 1928 In New Ulm, Minnesota. She moved to Wisconsin in 2012 to live with her daughter Linda and family. She Married Robert July 13, 1946, they had 64 wonderful years before Roberts passing in 2010.

Dory enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bowling, golfing and dancing the polka. In her later years she enjoyed reading, coloring with her great great-grandchildren. Dory would teach why it was important to stay within the lines. No scribbling she would say to them, crafts at the library and being with family. She was always up for an adventure.

She is survived by their children Beverly (Michael) Spreigl, Robert Jr (Kathy) and Linda (John) Joyce, ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren and eleven great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her husband Robert Slipka.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Rainbow Hospice for their help and support with Dory.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church- 8260 4th St N, Oakdale, MN 55128. Visitation will take place at the church from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at 2:00pm at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
