Doris Duessler

November 13, 1932 — February 26, 2016

Doris L. Duessler 83, of Waterloo, passed away on Friday Feb. 26, 2016 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.
Doris was born on Nov. 13, 1932 in Perkinstown, WI the daughter of John and Hulda (Kauss) Foss. She married Harvey Duessler on June 1, 1968 at Holy Trinity Church in Marshall. Doris was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Waterloo. She enjoyed puzzles, Bingo, Crocheting, needle point, cooking and playing cards. She always looked forward to her road trips with her sisters. Above all, Doris enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include: husband Harvey Duessler of Waterloo, six children: Edward (Linda) Kohls of Waterloo, Diane (Craig) Zimmerman of Portland, Cindy (Steven) Butzine of Waterloo, Victoria Heredia of Marshall, Katherine (Steve) Flieshman of Gillette, WY and Susan Gonzalez of Lake Mills; three stepchildren: Debra (Don) Aber of Mukwanago, Steve Duessler of Waterloo and Dean (Sue) Duessler of Pewaukee; 29 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sisters Patricia (Robert) Goebel of Portage and Merle (Bill) Nehmer of Columbus. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, stepson, 3 sisters, 1 brother and a great granddaughter.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Waterloo with the Rev. Rob Kosky presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will be in the Medina Cemetery in Marshall.
