Dennis A. Fosdal Sr.

Dennis A. Fosdal Sr., 84, of Watertown, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Dennis was born on April 9, 1941, in Viroqua, WI, the son of Alfred and Irene (Hazemann) Fosdal. He married the love of his life Judith Wiese on November 3, 1962, in Milwaukee, and the couple enjoyed 47 years of marriage before her passing in 2009. Dennis proudly served our country in the United States Army. He worked for over 30 years as a machinist at Lindbergs. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and deer hunting. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Dennis is survived by his children Julie (James) Janzen, Jeannene (Wayne) Budig, Jacqueline Fosdal-Hustad, Jodi (Matthew) King, Dennis (Jenny) Fosdal Jr., 17 grandchildren, and his brothers David (Linda) Fosdal, and Terry Fosdal. He is further survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Judy, and sister Jeannette.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. Ray Bezanson presiding. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial with full military honors will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown following the service.
