Della B. "Bernice" Collupy, 79 of Watertown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Heritage Homes of Watertown, WI.
Bernice was born on October 26, 1936 in Harewood, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of William and Stella (Killam) Herrington. On June 14, 1959 she married Gale T. Collupy and the couple was married for 45 years. Bernice came to know the Lord at age 12 and was member of Calvary Baptist Church of Watertown. She was one of 10 children and was raised in rural New Brunswick. The family was poor, but instilled a work ethic that was with her throughout her life. She owned and operated a successful business where she bred champion Cairn Terriers and also offered boarding and grooming. She was the strongest lady her children had ever known - both in personality and constitution. Her family will miss her deeply.
Bernice is survived by her Children Darren (Connie) Collupy of Spencer, MA, Ruth (Allan) Hardy of Omaha, NE, Timothy (Tamara) Collupy of Watertown, and Patricia (Jimmy) DiCico of Wellesley, MA; 13 Grandchildren; Sister Ruth Hiltz and Brother Don (Harriet) Herrington both of New Brunswick, Canada. She is also survived by a number other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Brothers Robert, Albert, James, and George, and Sisters Leona, Rita, and Annie.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church of Watertown with the Rev. Dr. Robert J. Loggans presiding. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date.
