David L. Trotts 63, of Janesville, formerly of Watertown, passed away on Tuesday Oct. 21, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.
David was born on Jan. 15, 1951 in Watertown the son of Edwin and Phyllis (Cronkrite) Trotts. He was a 1970 graduate of Watertown High School. He served his county in the U.S. Navy from 1970-1976. He worked with St. Coletta's and Trek for many years. David was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling and above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include: daughter Jessica (Joel) Benewich of Janesville; grandchildren Emma, Aiden and Owen; four sisters Corrine (Mark) Miller of Watertown, Barbara (Robert) Schulte of Burnsville, MN, Kathy (Wil) Nickels of Watertown and Janice (Gary) Gaedtke of Menasha, WI. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorials to Watertown V.F.W. Post 3709 would be appreciated.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday Oct. 27, 2014 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with Fr. Scott Jablonski presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
