Cortney Dean

Cortney Shannon Dean, 33years old, passed into the loving arms of Jesus, Wednesday, Feb 7, 2018.

Cortney was born March 20, 1984, in Omaha, NE, to Steve and Donna Dean.  In 1985, the family moved to Maple Grove, MN where she attended the Courage Center  Preschool Program.  In 1987, she moved to Troy, MI and attended school in the Hazel Park Public Schools.  In 1993, her and her family moved to Flushing Michigan where she attended school at Marion Crouse Instructional Center. In 1999 she moved to Bethesda Lutheran Homes in Watertown, WI. Throughout all these moves, Cortney touched many lives with her beautiful smile, contagious laugh and wonderful sweet spirit.

She leaves to treasure her memory: Parents, Steve and Donna Dean, sister and brother-in-law, Carrie and Chris Wells, nieces Raegan and Bailee and brother, Anthony Dean as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Welcoming Cortney in heaven are paternal grandparents Ralph and Lee Dean, maternal grandparents Vaino Kivi, Elsie (Kivi) Patrow, Dave Patrow and Aunt Susan Turk.

The celebration of Cortney’s life is planned for Saturday, February 10, 2018 beginning with visitation at 10:00 a. m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church 626 Milford Street Watertown WI with Vicar Seth Hoeppner and Pastor Mike Schempf officiating the service.

Memorials may be given in memory of Cortney Dean to Bethesda Lutheran Communities in Watertown WI.  Please note Cortney’s name in giving, as her family wishes to thank those contributing to Cortney’s Bethesda family.
