Chiara Eleanor Chadwick

Chiara E. Chadwick, 15, of Waterloo, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 6, 2023, at her home.

Chiara was born on July 1, 2008, in Minnesota, the daughter of Chad Chadwick and Jennifer Olson. Chiara will always be remembered as such a happy, sweet child who wanted the best for everybody, human or animal. She loved school and was always looking to learn something new. She liked to walk the tracks to talk with friends and ride her bike every chance she'd get. She loved the outdoors, camping, drawing, reading, hiking, and hunting. She was so dependable, funny, loyal, and honest and always willing to do anything for anybody, especially the ones she loved. She would try anything and had such a big heart and a beautiful soul. She was so loved and will truly be missed by so many. 

Chiara is survived by her father Chad (Becca Buddenhagen) Chadwick, mother Jennifer (AJ MacNaughton) Olson, siblings Gavin Olson and Dominic LeBlanc, maternal grandparents Mark (Karen) Olson, paternal grandfather Wayne (Cindy) Chadwick, and paternal grandmother Carol (Bob) Berry. Her great-grandmother Marie Radtke, aunts and uncles Erik Olson, Brad (Lindsay) Chadwick, and her God-Mother Rochelle Chadwick. She is also survived by a number of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents and great uncles.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November, 11, 2023, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshall with Rev. Brent Walsworth presiding. Visitation will take place at the church from 11:00am until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date at Medina Cemetery.
