Charles Darling

Charles R. Darling, 81, of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Marquardt Health Center.

Charles was born on October 18, 1936 in Milwaukee, Wi the son of James and Esther (Tischer) Darling. He married Joyce Stika on September 24, 1960 in Milwaukee and the couple was blessed with a son, Brian. Charles owned and operated his own barber shop in Milwaukee for over 40 years. Charles faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force during the Cold War and later on performed two tours of duty in the Air National Guard in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. For leisure, Charles was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being out in nature. He will be dearly missed by his loving family.

Charles is survived by: his wife of 58 years, Joyce and his son, Brian.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, and a brother Robert Darling.
