Carol M. Waldorf

Carol M. Waldorf, 78 of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Lilac Springs in Lake Mills.

Carol was born on March 19, 1947, In Milwaukee, the daughter of Leo and Mae (Sontag) Gregorius. On October 10, 1970, Carol was united in marriage with William Waldorf and the couple shared almost 55 years of marriage. Prior to starting a family, Carol earned her license in cosmetology. Carol put a hold on hairstyling once they started a family, but she continued as a personal hairdresser to countless family and friends. Raising her 2 children became her true passion. Being the loving woman she was, Carol devoted her weekends to spending time with her family, especially at their cottage in Northern Wisconsin. Carol always earned the attention of those around her with her witty comments and caring personality. Those close to her will always remember seeing her standing at her cottage bedroom window getting dolled up to dine with her friends.

Carol is survived by: her loving husband William; children Julie (Terry) Zoellick and Stephen Waldorf; grandchildren Jack, Neva, Lauren, and Hazel; sister Jane; and brothers Jim and Bill.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents.

Per Carol’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
