Carol A. Lindner

Carol A. Lindner, 85 of Hartford, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Angel’s Grace in Oconomowoc.

Carol was born on April 24, 1938, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Fredrick and Janet (Kaminski) Dehring. She married Lee W. Lindner on September 6, 1958. Carol was a long-time checker at Kohl’s Food Store. She later enjoyed working as an administrative assistant in the claims department of an insurance company. In her free time, Carol liked to create diamond art and was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her friends from St. Charles Hartland, and being a part of the Tamarack Adult Day Services Community. Above all else, family meant the most to Carol, and she will be deeply missed by those that she leaves behind.

Carol is survived by: her children Cynthia Lindner-Simmons, Kevin (Linda) Lindner, and Genise (Mark Silkey) Lindner; grandchildren Allison (Michael) Brooks, Andrew (Samantha) Lindner, Ian (Bridget) Lindner, Evan (Amber) Simmons, and Aaron Simmons; great-grandchildren Hazel Lindner, Penny Lindner, and August Lindner; and brother Fred (Linda) Dehring. Carol is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

Carol is preceded in death by: her parents; husband Lee; brother Robert (Judith) Dehring; aunts Evelyn Kaminski and Sylvia Kaminski; father and mother-in-law Herbert and Gladys Lindner; sister-in-law Lola Botcher; and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s name to Tamarack Adult Day Services, 1022 Sell Drive, Hartford, WI 53027, would be appreciated by the family.

A committal service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel of Milwaukee with Rev. Ray Bezanson presiding. Carol will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery following the service.
