Carl H. Beyer

Carl H. Beyer- Alzheimer’s had a grip on him, but God saved him on June 24, 2025.

Carl Horst was born on May 5, 1937, the son of Emil and Erna Beyer. He lived his youth on a farm outside Marshfield with 7 brothers and sisters. He was drafted into the Army and was stationed in N. Germany. There he met and married his wife Karin. They had a son Eric, who is the sunshine of their life. In 1969 they moved to Waterloo when Carl took a job with American Family Insurance as a damage appraiser. Carl loved everything outdoors, especially motorcycling and biking. In later years the family enjoyed camping and crisscrossing this beautiful country.

Carl is survived by his wife Karin, son Eric, grandchildren Ashley (Nic); Michael (Kelsey); great-grandchildren Braden, Maverick, Kiana, and Charlotte. He is further survived by his sister Betty Jensen and sister-in-law Karlene Beyer. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Per Carl’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.
