Brendan M. Timm

Feb 28, 1995 — Aug 9, 2026

Brendan Michael Timm, 31, of Long Island, New York passed away on Sunday, August 9th, 2026 following a motorcycle accident. Brendan, born on February 28th, 1995, was the son of Dustin Timm and Katie (Degner) Eske. Along with his parents, he is survived by his younger siblings Sabrina, (DJ Kemmerling), Zayland, and Olivia Timm. He was extremely thrilled to have become a first time uncle to Elena Lynn Kemmerling, born on May 7th, 2026. Cherished and loved as an older brother, Brendan is also survived by his cousins; older cuz to some, little cuz to one. He genuinely loved his family and friends, choosing to consider his friends as family.

Brendan graduated from Lakeside Lutheran High School in May, 2013, and received his Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Waukesha County Technical College in December, 2016. He would later shift his interest in careers and begin working with the Carpenters Union in July, 2017. He started his apprenticeship with Maas Bros in 2018 and earned journeyman status in July, 2023 while working with JP Cullen. Brendan was a proud Union brother. His most recent project was working with the local 290 in New York.

In addition to Brendan’s passion for his job, and love for his family, there were so many other things Brendan enjoyed in life. Training, rolling, and competing in Jiu Jitsu tournaments, he achieved a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Valkyrie BJJ Academy in Dousman, Wisconsin (2020). He loved the Ocean Parkway in Long Island and Long Island in general, but he loved it even more while riding his ZX-14R motorcycle. Physical fitness and eating healthy was predominant in his life, but he wouldn’t say no to indulging in great food with amazing friends. He sang loud and proud to his favorite songs, loving all types of music like he loved all types of people.

Brendan had a way of making people feel comfortable. They could talk with him about anything, and they did (I imagine he took a lot of secrets to the grave). Brendan was always down for doing whatever with anyone: getting tattooed, attending Bible study, church services, going out for coffee (or a different drink), taking a road trip, going for a run, or going to the beach. He was unashamed of his faith and his relationship with God, permanently displaying his favorite verse right beneath his eye (Rev. 21:4).

For anyone who knew B, they’d know “he had the most beautiful smile,” and “was gorgeous inside and out.” “He was a super cool guy” that “definitely stood out in a crowd” and “gave the best hugs.” They would also know “his voice was beautiful,” and might think he was one of “the smartest people [they’ve] ever met.” When and if it came down to it, anyone who needed his help could rely on him being in their corner, ready to throw down.

The 31 years we got with him here on earth were packed with extraordinary and meaningful life.

“There is a time for everything… a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance” (Ecc. 3:1-4).
