Barbara A. Schoechert, 83 of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at her home.
Barbara was born on May 31, 1931 in Lake Mills, WI, the daughter of Albert & Erna (Hanke) Sanft. She was a graduate of Lake Mills High School. In June of 1953, Barbara married Leonard Schoechert in Watertown. The couple enjoyed 58 years of marriage until Leonard's death in 2011. Barbara was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by: her children Sheri (Frank) Burns of Watertown, Pat (Steve) Seibel of Nashotah, Jeff (Betty) Schoechert of Watertown, Cindy (Bret) Kohler of Hartland, and Pam (Joe Gurich) Schoechert of Brookfield; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters and a brother.
Memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice in her honor.
A private family memorial service will be held.
