Armella M. Klinger, 94 of Waterloo, passed away at home on Thursday, September 18, 2014.
She was born on August 9, 1920 in the Town of Bristol, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Speth) Bronner. She married Claude Klinger on September 19, 1944 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Sun Prairie. The couple raised 7 children and worked hard together on the family farm in Reeseville. They enjoyed almost 50 years of marriage until his death in 1993. She was member of Holy Family Parish of Waterloo and enjoyed donating her time to many Ladies Aid programs. The couple loved going on fishing trips to northern Wisconsin with close friends. She was a great cook, loved reading, gardening, crocheting, and flowers. Above all else, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She is survived by: Children Donald (Darlene) Klinger of Hustisford, Marie (Allen Rettschlag) Klinger of Watertown, Leon (Cindy) Klinger of Beaver Dam, Karen (Rich) Duncan of Pearl City, IL, Gerald (Roxanne) Klinger of Tomahawk, Jean (Jerry) Detert of Waterloo, and Janet (Randall) Hughes of Waterloo; 17 Grandchildren Alice, Jody, Melissa, David, Cali Jo, Zachary, Ian, Stacy, Brian, Jennifer, Katie, Ethan, Shane, Kyle, Bret, Hillary, and Quentin; 13 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Sister Anna Reinen, Regina Schmutzler, Angela Hauser all of Sun Prairie, and Helen Bronner of Elm Grove. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by: her Parents, Husband, Grandson Donald, Brothers Norbert and William, Sisters Rosalia "Sally", Mary Ann, and Antoinette "Toni".
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Holy Family Parish - Waterloo Campus with Fr. Ronald Rank presiding. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery of Lowell following the service.
